The Best of Terrie Lee Steinmeyer

A wonderful surprise came in yesterday's mail!  My latest book with Leisure Arts, The Best of Terrie Lee Steinmeyer!  Here is what Amazon.com has to say about it:
"With a special talent for festive holiday designs, Terrie Lee Steinmeyer has provided cross stitchers with years of enjoyment. This big book of her best designs includes a wide range of themes and styles, as well as sizes from small to large. There are benevolent Santas, happy Halloween goblins, cute bunnies, and a sweet Cupid, as well as precious baby bibs, poignant samplers, reverent Inspirational designs, tributes for teachers, magical carousel horses, and sporty hand towels. There are even alphabets for kids and mini designs that make cheery Christmas ornaments."
Generally I'm pretty self-critical, but Leisure Arts has done an outstanding job compiling designs from my early days in cross stitch to the present.  This book makes me smile!
Here are some of the designs in the book that I would like to share with you!

  3. Hello from the Pacific Northwest! As a past cross-stitcher, I think I may have seen your designs. However, I just had to go take a peek at Amazon and, of course, put your book on my shopping list! You may have just inspired me to get my cross stitch out again! Your designs are fantastic! I have often wondered if I could ever convert some of my own art designs into cross-stitch. Do you know of a computer program that does that? Or would it perhaps be easier to convert to a crewel design?
You can take a look at some of what I do at my blog: http://joanshomestudio.blogspot.com (I'll see if I can find a photo or two of some cross stitch I've done and post that)
BTW...I actually found your blog through the Mind Wide Open challenge. I wanted to find out if I got any votes from this months challenge and was I ever so surprised to see I got three. One being from you! Thank you so very very much! :)
AND I'm so thrilled I found your blog. I've so enjoyed this visit here that I'm looking forward to the next visit already!
With kind regards and thankful heart,
    Joan Marie
