Longwood Gardens

Ahhh!!  Spring is in the air in the northeast - and it's about time!  We all have cabin fever here!  This week the daffodils opened!  Yeah!!!

Then on Monday hubby and I and some friends went to the incredible "Orchid Extravaganza" at the beautiful Longwood Gardens!

Not only were the orchids awesome, but Longwood's famed Blue Poppies were in bloom!  Gosh!  Their colors are so delicate!  Usually found in Scotland, Alaska and the Himalayas, Longwood Gardens indoor display of blooms was breath-taking!  I can't imagine what they must look like in the wild!
