August: Osage County

Ahhh we drove into Philly again...  city of brotherly love and Willie Penn!  We saw August: Osage County at the Forrest Theatre.  Whoa!  What an emotionally charged play!  And oh my... what a dysfunctional family!  The play was excellent - surprisingly funny at times but mostly dark and tragic.  The acting was superb and we had a grand time!  As usual, the food in the city is par excellent!

The Lion King

Ah!  Hubby and I went to the Lion King in Philadelphia!  It was awesome!  The costumes and puppetry were fantastic!  And *WoW* such talent!  Phindile Mkhize who played Rafiki, Elijah Johnson as the young Simba and Marja Harmon as Nala had the most beautiful voices.  What a fantastic show!
