OWOH

Yesterday was a sad day in our home...  One of our precious furry family members, Rusty, went to the "Heavy Side Lair".  We all were and continue to be tearful...

This morning however, I was cheered by a sweet email from Ksenia in Moldova.  She is the winner of my OWOH Giveaway and she finally received my cross stitch book, "The Best of TerrieLee Steinmeyer".  Here is a picture that she posted of her little baby girl, her Princess, helping her unwrap the package.  So sweet!

Sometimes when I blog I feel like I'm typing to nothing but air, but then on days like today, when someone from so far away writes a note to me, I shake my head with wonder.  Blogging is an enriching experience.  Meeting wonderful people from all walks of life and from all over the world is humbling and beautiful.

Ksenia's sweet note made me so happy today.  Thank you Ksenia!

OWOH Winner!

Gosh!  I'm late!!!  And I apologize!

My Mother-in -law broke her wrist and had to be admitted into the hospital and so I am afraid I was distracted!  She was discharged this afternoon and so thankfully it looks like she will be okay.  She broke it last Friday and it swelled to such an extent that they couldn't set it until yesterday and then her blood pressure went off the wall and she was in so much pain...  I felt so sorry for her but could do nothing but wring my hands and pray...

But as I said, she is home now, and that is wonderful news!

Here is a picture of my book!

It is 112 pages and 140+ designs!   I'm not one to toot my own horn, but Leisure Arts did a very nice job collecting some of my favorite designs.  Whomever "wins" it, I hope will like it and make some of the cross stitch designs!  There is everything from Baby to Christmas to Halloween!  Well you get the picture!  Good luck to all!  I'm off to ride the carpet and visit all of the other participating blogs!
