Wittle Witch!

!!!HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

I finished my little witch and moon! They were so much fun to make! Now they are hanging in the foyer!

In two and a half days I leave for Marilyn's Hawaii Creativity Retreat!!! Yikes! I still have to finish the "Flower People" that I am making as a surprise for my Mom!

Flying McCoys

Here is the little boy from the Flying McCoy's cartoon strip that my Mom is sculpting from PaperClay! She *loves* this cartoon and has been having a blast sculpting the family of McCoy's! She tells me she is going to sculpt the little girl next and then the dog! Stay tuned...

Getting Ready to Leave!

Gosh! There's so much to do before I leave for Hawaii!
I awoke the other morning with an idea to make my Mom a present before I leave. It will be a little bouquet of Flower Power People! This is quick and simple! I plan to write a little note and attach it to each flower, kind of like an Advent Calendar, so she can read a "note a day" from me while I am gone!
Here's a picture of my dear sweet Mom, sculpting one of her favorite newspaper cartoon characters, the little boy from the "Flying McCoys".
... and finally, because I'm a little bit crazy, I plan to make a "Two Hour" purse (which will probably take me twenty-two hours!!!) out of this beautiful fabric and take it with me on my trip!

Yikes! I leave in a week and a day!!! I better get started!

Aloha!

The Flying McCoy's Revisited!

Mrs. McCoy is progressing, as you can see! I wish I had my Mom's energy! There is still some painting to be done and then Mom wants to sculpt the dog and kids! Maybe we'll make a diorama!

PRIMS

Have you wondered how the PRIMS turned out? Wonder no longer! Here is Sunny with her furchild, Tippy and Millie with Tyger!

Flying McCoys

Well here's the latest on Mom's sculp-ture, Mr. McCoy! She is more or less done sculpting him (she still plans to add belt loops!) and has begun to paint him. Isn't he a riot?! She *loves* the cartoon and plans to sculpt "Mrs" next!

PRIMS

Meet Millie & Sunny! Don't they make you laugh? They are "Prims" - more or less :D! Jane DesRosier is teaching this interesting class at http://clothclaydolls.ning.com/. and it's a blast!

Sunny, is my Mom's Prim and she has yet to be painted. When my Mom saw my Prim, Millie, she just had to join the fun! Unlike me, my Mom has been making dolls for years! I *love* Sunny! I love Millie too, but Sunny cracks me up! Isn't she precious?

In the next few days the "girls" will get skirts! Stay tuned! :)
